The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
